About Me
Who I am and what I do.
My Story
In the midst of the global pandemic, I realized I was pursuing a degree where I had no clue what role would be right for me. As a joke, I searched the internet for a quiz that could determine “what computer science career is for me?” After answering the questions, UI/UX Design was the top answer but it was something I knew absolutely nothing about. After some due diligence shortly after, I was hooked. I enrolled in an online course where I could learn more about the fundamentals of UI/UX Design titled “Introduction to User Experience Design” by SuperHi. Upon completion of this course, I joined the Beta program of Clicked, a company that aims to develop skills through projects and feedback from professionals in the industry. These experiences helped me in gaining confidence in my design skills as well as understanding how to develop a design mindset. Ever since these projects, I won a Designathon hosted by Boston University, interned as a designer for a small business consulting group, and became a director for my university’s first and only design organization: Design@UCR. By fusing my design thinking and knowledge of sofware/web application development, I am actively looking for front-end developer roles.
My personal interests: I love being active whether it’s rock climbing, playing pickup basketball, or lifting weights. I also express my creative side through cooking and making music!
